- Is the Saturday market on every week?
Yes, we are open every Saturday from 10am to 4pm (except for the month of January and August)
- How do I find you?
We are located at Saint Leonards Church, London Road (corner of Pevensey Road), Saint Leonards on Sea, TN37 6AS
- Are you near any public transportation links?
Yes, we are 2 mins walk from Saint Leonards Warrior Square main line station and buses 20, 22, 22C & 349 stop outside
- Are children allowed to visit the market?
Yes, we are a family friendly market, but children under 12 years old must be accompanied by adult.
- Are dogs allowed at the market?
Yes, we welcome well behaved dogs on a lead
- Is the market wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible?
Yes, the market is on the lower ground floor accessible from the London Road side of the building
- Is there an entrance charge to the market?
No, entry to the market is completely free of charge
- Are there toilet facilities?
Yes, we have toilet facilities available
- How do I become a stall holder at the market?
You can book and pay for a stall at the bottom of the homepage
- How do I know if stalls are available on a certain date?
There is a drop down list of dates on the stall booking. The next available date will be shown and ‘sold out’ dates will be unavailable to book.
- Can I book multiple stalls or dates with one payment?
Yes, just 'add to cart' each date, stall or electricity supply you want to book before clicking on the shopping cart to review and pay for your order
- How soon should I book my stall?
We recommend that you book your stall as early as possible to avoid disappointment, as our market is often sold out a week or more in advance.
- How do I know where my stall, gazebo or food unit will be situated in the market?
You can refer to the market floor plan to see where the various types of units are situated. Your table or gazebo will be labelled with your name when you arrive.
- Can I request a specific position for my stall in the market?
You can request a general location within the market, using the floor plan labels as reference (R4) is row 4 for example, but due to demand we can not guarantee you will get your choice, but we will try.
- Is it necessary for me to accept card payments on my stall?
It’s not a requirement, but we highly recommend our traders accept card payments as not many visitors carry cash these days. SumUp Solo card machines work well as they have a SIM card and Wi-Fi connectivity. Use this special link for a discount on the Solo card machine Sign up here
- Do you supply a table and chair?
Yes, we have lots of tables and chairs to use free of charge
- Do you supply clothes rails?
No, we do not provide clothes rails so you will need to bring your own
- What time can I set up my stall?
You can arrive between 8am and no later than 9:45am to set up as we open to the public at 10am
- What time can I pack up my stall?
You can pack up your stall between 4pm and 5:30pm
- Can I pack up and leave before 4pm?
No, your stall MUST remain intact until 4pm, as is unfair on other traders (and the public) if you are packing away before 4pm
- Where can I load and unload?
You can load and unload for up to 10mins outside the red doors on the London Road side of the building
- Where can I park?
There is free parking on both sides of London Road, the station approach road and Pevensey Road (heading away from town), as parking restrictions do not apply on Saturdays
- Do I need public liability insurance?
Yes, you will need a market traders insurance policy
- Can I have an electricity supply for my stall?
Yes, you can book an electricity supply as an add on to your stall hire or click here
- Can I cancel my booking and get a refund?
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible and we will consider moving your booking to another date depending on availability. We do not offer refunds as per our Terms of Trading
- Can I cook food on my stall?
No, all food that requires extraction MUST be cooked off site, but can be kept warm using your own equipment or one of our heated display units (if available and on request)
